July’s Volunteers

Jim Ramsbottom

Jim has been a volunteer with the Red Cross since 2011 and volunteers a considerable amount of his time to our organization: approximately 50 – 100 hours per month. Jim is a dedicated and committed volunteer who is always willing to step in at a moment’s notice. He also graciously volunteers his time to other charitable organizations and causes in the city of Thunder Bay. Upon meeting Jim, it soon becomes evident that he is passionate about giving and helping. It is a great pleasure to have such a dedicated volunteer as a member of our team!

Tori Antier

The City of Thunder Bay wants to highlight one of our many super volunteers for the month of July, and that volunteer is Tori Antier.

Tori did a fantastic job the week she volunteered at Chippewa!

Tori was assisting one of the leaders at Chippewa with their group of campers for the week. This group had some difficult situations to overcome and some clingy campers, of course they were clingy because she was so great!
Clingy campers are a delicate and tough situation that Tori handled perfectly.

She also never seemed to lose her enthusiasm she was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to seeing her smiling face at other volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer Thunder Bay and NetNewsLedger congratulate all the volunteers.
