he section of Simpson Street that runs from the May/Arthur Street intersection to Victoria Avenue will close to all through traffic next week to allow for the installation of new storm sewers. The closure is scheduled to begin the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 9, and is expected to last three weeks. The construction schedule is subject to change, as various factors, such as weather, can affect project timelines. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible, and those travelling in the area are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage.
