The public meeting will cover the growing issues impacting Thunder Bay including addiction, mental health, homelessness, and the pressures caused by these issues on front-line first responders.

Pullia states that he wants to facilitate a panel of experts at this meeting a follow up to his earlier town hall on youth safety issues.

Thunder Bay, along with many other cities across North America are facing growing issues brought about by opioid addiction.

Pullia states that frontline police officers are responding to calls which often are more of a mental health issue than crime issues.
