Thunder BayTHUNDER BAY – According to preliminary data released today by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), there were no Thunder Bay starts in February compared to one last February.

“On average there are slightly more than two single-detached units started in February. This February is below average but it is not uncommon for there to be no starts counted in a month like February given the nature of the residential construction industry in Northern Ontario,” said Warren Philp, CMHC’s Northern Ontario Market Analyst.
