KENORA – REGIONAL CRIME REPORT – A four-month joint investigation between the Treaty Three Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police – Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) Kenora has resulted in a significant drug seizure and charges against two individuals.
On May 16, 2025, officers from the Street Crime Unit conducted a proactive traffic stop in the City of Kenora as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. The stop led to the seizure of:

🔹 144 grams of suspected cocaine

🔹 $100 in Canadian currency

🔹 A 2022 Jeep Compass believed to be linked to the offence
The estimated street value of the cocaine is $14,400.
Two Arrested, Facing Drug Trafficking Charges
As a result of the stop, police arrested and charged:

A 41-year-old woman from Grassy Narrows First Nation

A 37-year-old man from Winnipeg, Manitoba
Both individuals have been charged under Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act for possession for the purpose of trafficking. They were released from custody pending future court appearances.
