Thunder Bay District Health Unit Reports St. Martins Elementary School No Longer Considered Increased COVID-19 Risk

Thunder Bay – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) reports “That the period of heightened surveillance at St. Martin Elementary School is considered over. The school is no longer considered to be at increased risk related to COVID-19”.

TBDHU says that “No additional cases of COVID-19 have been identified and we have no evidence that additional spread of the virus occurred in the school setting. While this is reassuring, ongoing vigilance following public health recommendations throughout the holiday season and upon return to school should be followed.”
