Thunder Bay Police Arrest Intoxicated Man for Assault with a Weapon

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police report that a Trillium Place resident had a violent encounter with an intoxicated male last night which resulted in the arrest of a Thunder Bay man.

TBPS says that just before 7:00 p.m., a male known to the resident attempted to push his way into the home after being refused entry.

The accused male allegedly pulled out a pipe and began threatening the male victim.  The victim was able to push back and disarm the intruder who then fled the scene.  The male victim sustained minor injuries.

Responding Uniform Patrol officers were able to locate the accused at a nearby address.  He was taken into custody without incident.

32-year-old Kevin Mitchell TURTLE has been charged with Assault With a Weapon.  He has been released for a future court date.
