Freezing Drizzle Advisory for Winnipeg

WINNIPEG – WEATHER – Travellers heading west toward Manitoba should be aware that there is a freezing drizzle advisory in effect for Southeast Manitoba.

Freezing drizzle advisory in effect for:

  • City of Winnipeg

The forecast calls for periods of freezing drizzle changing to periods of light snow this afternoon. Fog patches dissipating this afternoon. Wind becoming south 20 km/h early this afternoon.

The forecast is calling for freezing drizzle over the Red River Valley and southeast Manitoba today.

An area of low cloud is leading to periods of freezing drizzle Thursday morning. Along with the freezing drizzle, patches of fog and mist have been occurring as well. Freezing drizzle will taper off in the afternoon.
