Arrest Made in Arundel Street Homicide

THUNDER BAY – An arrest has been made in a homicide that happened in Current River on Arundel Street. Thunder Bay Police have charged a 40-year-old man with second-degree murder in the death of Nazareth Andrew KWANDIBENS, 41, of Thunder Bay.

Police on Wednesday responded to a call to a home oon Arundel Street at about 2:00 pm EST. Thunder Bay Fire Rescue and Superior EMS also responded.

The first responders attempted to resuscitate a male victim but were unable to do so.

Police Investigators with the Major Crimes Unit confirmed the nature of the death was consistent with a homicide.

The accused is scheduled to appear in bail court Thursday, November 14, 2019.

Police are continuing to hold the scene. The investigation into this homicide is ongoing.
