FORT FRANCES – The Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to request the public’s assistance in locating a stolen vehicle.

On October 8, 2018, at approximately 5:09 PM, a Fort Frances resident contacted the local OPP to report that his truck has been stolen. The vehicle had last been parked at a residence in the area of Second Street West in Fort Frances and was last seen on October 7, 2018, at approximately 10:00 AM.

Members of the detachment attended the area and conducted an investigation however the truck was not located. The investigation is ongoing.

The truck is described as a silver or grey 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck and is bearing Ontario Licence plate number: AE 64393.
