School Buses in Dryden – Kenora – Ignace
Please be advised that school buses have been CANCELLED for the day for the following areas:
DRYDEN/VERMILION BAY (Iron Range and Hutchison Bus Lines)
SIOUX LOOKOUT (Iron Range Bus Lines)
UPSALA TO IGNACE Hwy Run – (Schneider Bus Lines – formerly Wray Bus Lines)
Buses ARE running in:
Kenora/Sioux Narrows (First Student)
Upsala local run (Schneider Bus Lines)
Ignace local run (Iron Range Bus Lines)
Red Lake/Ear Falls with exception for the Perrault Falls to Ear Falls segment for RL1 (Hutchison Bus Lines)
We realize that in some areas where cancellations have occurred, conditions are may be still acceptable for school bus travel, however the forecasted weather/storm plus winds/visibility and accumulation present issues with getting the students home. As well, we factor in the clearing/salting/sanding capacities of the municipalities, Road Contractors and local Roads Boards. Please know that we make the best decision possible with the information available to us.
We will continue to monitor the Kenora and Red Lake areas in the event that an early bus dismissal becomes necessary.
ALL SCHOOLS REMAIN OPEN.
