THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – A Special weather statement is in effect for:
- City of Thunder Bay
- Atikokan
- Quetico Park
- Cloud Bay – Dorion
- Kakabeka Falls – Whitefish Lake – Arrow Lake
A mixture of snow and some rain is expected to move into Northwestern Ontario from Northern Minnesota this evening. As temperatures drop to near or just below the zero degree mark, patchy freezing rain will probably be an issue to deal with across the area tonight.
Motorists and pedestrians should exercise caution as untreated surfaces may become icy and slippery.
Freezing rain warnings may be issued later tonight as necessary.
