DRYDEN –  SPORTS – The City of Dryden in partnership with Little Bands Native Youth Hockey Tournament have announced that the 2016 tournament will be hosted at the Dryden Memorial Arena during the week of February 7th.

The Dryden Memorial Arena was also requested by team sponsors. n addition, Dryden offers a wide variety of restaurants and accommodations.

Teams wishing to register or for other tournament information, can contact ziggybeardy@knet.ca.

This announcement offers Dryden businesses and the entire community a great opportunity to be warm and inviting hosts for hundreds of youth hockey players and their families.

Besides the great investment into the local economy, the Dryden Memorial Arena will be fully booked for the week-long tournament using both ice surfaces and we look forward to seeing Dryden residents and businesses enjoy the games and friendship with our First Nation neighbours.

Free Wifi and concession stand will be available on-site for everyone and media are welcome to attend.

The Dryden Development Corporation encourages all local businesses to contact our office at 807-223-4100 if interested in sponsorship opportunities or with any questions or ideas to provide a warm, friendly welcome as the City and L’II Bands organizers gear up to host this fantastic sporting event.
