Police Arrest Multi-Collision Driver

Thunder Bay PoliceTHUNDER BAY – Crime Report – He couldn’t out run, or out-drive the Thunder Bay Police. The male driver who was involved in an extended police pursuit in the city yesterday has been arrested. 

Police officers located and arrested the twenty-seven year old male yesterday evening in connection with the multi-collision and police pursuit event that happened around noon yesterday.

Upon locating the suspect, the officer involved in the pursuit was able to instantly recognize and identify him as the driver. This male was held for video court this morning and faces criminal charges of:

  • Dangerous Driving X2
  • Flight From Police
  • Public Mischief

Prior to his arrest, the driver attempted to report to police that the vehicle had been stolen.

In other news, overnight, police were busy with two hundred and sixteen calls for service. 

Police dealt with three weapons offences, forty-six quality of life calls, that included 27 alcohol related calls.
