SHIFT TourneyTHUNDER BAY – News – On Friday July 22nd, SHIFT hosted the 1st Annual SHIFTGolf Tournament, with key sponsors: RBC and tbaytel at the Thunder Bay Country Club. Even with the heat being over 30 degrees Celsius, the event drew out over 65 SHIFTers and included a variety of prizes and events. On the patio, music (provided by Chris Koza) entertained players throughout the course of the day and evening. First place winners (who also received a trophy) was team Superior Smiles, with the most honest team being team Mulligans.

After dinner, two teams competing for the Best Dressed prize battled in a dance off, with the award going to the Wreckless Pirates. Needless to say, the event was entertaining and SHIFTers enjoyed the event.

SHIFT thanks all of the event sponsors including: tbaytel, RBC, Sportop Marketing, Investors Group, Pet Valu, NetNewsLedger.com, Valhalla Inn, Prestige Limousine, Jones & Associates Insurance, Nishnawbe Aski Nation, and Northwest Employment Works.

Appreciation goes out to the Thunder Bay Country Club, key volunteers, prize sponsors, bag sponsors, the DJ, and of course to the SHIFTers who contributed in making the event a success.
