Thunder Bay, ON – The Lakehead Thunderwolves have announced a new puck drop time for Saturday, November 1st against the Western Mustangs. The game will now begin at 5:30 PM at Fort William Gardens, instead of the originally scheduled 7:00 PM start.
This decision was made to give Thunderwolves fans and season ticket holders the best of both worlds — a chance to enjoy Thunderwolves Hockey and watch the Toronto Blue Jays’ potential Game 7 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Thunderwolves are proud to stand with the Jays and provide fans an opportunity to celebrate two great Canadian sports moments in one night.
All tickets printed with the 7:00 PM game time will still be accepted at the door. No exchanges are necessary.
Fans are encouraged to come out early for Teddy Bear Toss Night, one of the season’s most exciting traditions, as the Thunderwolves face their long-time rivals, the Western Mustangs — a team Lakehead defeated in the opening round of last year’s playoffs.
After the game, fans can keep the celebration going with 2-for-1 appetizers at Kelseys and Montana’s, where you can catch the Blue Jays on the big screen and cheer them on with fellow fans.
Please note: Puck drop is 5:30 PM regardless of whether a Game 7 is played.
