October event aims to empower entrepreneurs, foster growth, and build lasting connections in Thunder Bay’s business ecosystem

THUNDER BAY — June 5, 2025 — The Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with seven leading local organizations, has announced the launch of the inaugural Small Business Solutions Summit, set to take place on October 22, 2025. Designed to support, celebrate, and empower small businesses, this one-day summit will deliver real-world strategies, tools, and insights for entrepreneurs across Northwestern Ontario.

The Summit marks the first large-scale, formal collaboration between the Chamber and key regional partners including:

• Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)

• Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund (NADF)

• Northern Ontario Angels

• Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre (NOIC)

• PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise

• Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC)

• Thunder Bay Ventures

Together, these partners aim to offer a practical and inspiring event that provides small business owners with the tools they need to succeed in today’s ever-evolving marketplace.
