THUNDER BAY — May 2, 2025 — Thunder Bay City Council is set to convene on Monday, May 5 at 6:30 p.m., with a full agenda addressing a wide range of local priorities — from the arts and infrastructure to economic impacts and public services.

Among the notable items on the docket is an update on the City Manager’s workplan, offering residents a progress report on administrative initiatives and priorities currently underway at City Hall.


What’s on the Agenda:

🔹 Deputation from Magnus Theatre — Council will hear directly from representatives of Thunder Bay’s regional theatre company, as they provide updates or requests related to ongoing operations or community programming.

🔹 Heavy Load Restriction Proposal for Meryle Street — A proposed restriction could limit truck access to preserve infrastructure and improve safety.
