Thunder Bay – News – On the evening of Saturday, November 18th, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue units swiftly responded to a structural fire reported at the back of a building. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered visible smoke and flames, prompting an immediate second alarm to bring additional resources to the scene.

Firefighting Efforts and Safety Measures

The first arriving pumper crew quickly engaged, applying water to the building’s exterior to control the blaze. A thorough search was conducted to confirm no occupants remained inside. Firefighters remained on site for several hours to fully extinguish the fire and ensure it did not spread further. Notably, there were no injuries reported among civilians or fire rescue personnel.
