Great Start for Thunder Bay Divers at Spring Provincial Competition

THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – It was solid performances by members of the Thunder Bay Diver Club at the Ontario Spring Provincials. Three divers from the club, Mike, Abbey and Chris are competing.

10-year-old Michael Doerr won gold in his D group 5m platform event, Abbey Meloche won gold in her A group 1m springboard, and placed 6th in her Open 1m springboard.

Christopher Lake-Voros placed 5th in his A group 3m springboard event.

The three-day competition begins on Friday, with ten clubs from across the province in attendance.
