OTTAWA – Members of Parliament return to the House of Commons following the winter break. Thunder Bay Superior North MP Bruce Hyer shares his thoughts on how this session will unfold.

The Green Party of Canada are hosting two events on January 31st in Thunder Bay, first a nomination meeting in the Thunder Bay Rainy River riding, and second, the official grand opening of the Green Party Campaign office on Memorial Avenue.

Bruce Hyer offers insight into the coming election suggesting that Prime Minister Harper is very likely to make an early election call, hoping to by-pass some of the issues facing the government.

Today in Ottawa, Hyer says he is supportive of a new bill on pipelines that would require companies to clean up after any oil spills.
