Special weather statement in effect

THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – There is a slow moving cold front making its way across the region of Thunder Bay today. Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement predicting significant rainfall for the City of Thunder Bay and region.

  • Nipigon – Rossport
  • Thunder Bay
  • Geraldton

An area of moisture from Minnesota State will continue to interact with a slow moving cold front gradually making its way across north of Lake Superior. As a result showers heavy at times are expected today with a local rainfall amounts of 30 to 40 mm possible.
