THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – Thunder Bay is a hotbed of Strong Men. The Ontario Strongman Championships are returning to the city this summer for the second time.

On June 21st and 22nd, at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition Coliseum, this family-friendly event will be held. Proceeds for the event are headed to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Thunder Bay.

There will also be demos from Leading Edge MMA, Crossfit, Cheerleading, and food vendors.

The decathlon of strength will feature the top strength athletes in Ontario.

The strength athletes will compete against each other in 9 events over two days.

Will Ben Ruckstuhl is going to be defending his 2013 title.

He will face some serious local challenges with Luke Skaarup  Kyle Rayner and Dallas Hogan likely to be powered up by the home-town crowd.
