Remembrance Day in Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – ‘Lest We Forget’ – Remembrance Day in Thunder Bay and on Fort William First Nation have services starting this morning. The Services from the Fort William Gardens will be shared live on NetNewsLedger this morning.

Up on the Mountain at Fort William First Nation, there will be a service.

At Waverly Park on the north side of Thunder Bay there will be a service at the 11th Hour.

This year, the Remembrance Day Services in Thunder Bay will miss Dorothy Chambers. The remarkable lady passed away at the end of October.

MP John Rafferty paid tribute to the spirited lady in the House of Commons.

Veterans on Remembrance Day in a show of respect all ride free on Thunder Bay Transit Buses.
