THUNDER BAY – A tragic accident on claimed five lives. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have now released the names of all of the victims of that motor vehicle accident. 

The driver of the semi-truck-trailer was earlier identified as Sukhwinder S. Thandi, , of Cambridge, Ont.

The Regional Coroners Office reports that  Brady Ostell, 26, of Kitchener, his brother Andrew Ostell, 27, also of Kitchener, Kyle Prince, 42, of Waterloo, and James Jackson, 44, of Fort Erie were the other victim’s names.

The OPP responded the the accident on October 19, 2013 on Highway 17 and came across the scene of a horrific accident. The accident happened about 15 kilometres east of English River.

The four men were travelling west on the Trans-Canada Highway and collided with the east-bound semi-truck-trailer.

It took several days to identify all of the victims of the accident.
