THUNDER BAY – Dilico has a new Executive Director. Dilico Anishinabek Family Care has announced the appointment of Darcia Borg as the new Executive Director. Ms. Borg will lead the agency to continue to work towards achieving its vision of providing balance and well-being for Anishinabek children, families and communities. Dilico offers support in areas of Child Welfare, Health, and Mental Health and Addictions.

 “I am honoured to have been given this opportunity to lead Dilico Anishinabek Family Care,” says Ms. Borg. “I look forward to working with the communities as we continue to move forward in Child Welfare, Health, and Mental Health and Addictions.”

Ms. Borg has over 20 years of experience working with Aboriginal people; and has previously held the positions of Assistant Director of Mental Health and Addictions, Director of Mental Health and Addictions, and Acting Executive Director for Dilico Anishinabek Family Care.  She is a member of the Red Rock (Lake Helen) First Nation and holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work.
