Torrential downpours giving local rainfall amounts near 50 mm in an hour or less and intense lightning are quite possible. Large hail and wind gusts to 75 km/h are also possible this afternoon. Motorists should be prepared for sudden low visibility in heavy downpours and ponded water in poorly drained areas making driving conditions difficult.
