THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL) announced Monday that Minnesota Wilderness forward Conrad Sampair has been named the Pizza Hut player of the week for the time frame concluding Dec. 9.

In SIJHL action in two games over the past seven days, the 19-year-old native of White Bear Lake, Minn., registered six points helping the league-leading Wilderness complete a two-game road sweep of the second place Dryden Ice Dogs.

Sampair scored a goal in a 3-2 shootout triumph on Friday and followed that up by tallying twice and dishing out three assists in picking up a season-high five points Saturday. In 14 games since joining the Wilderness he has scored 12 times and set-up 13 others helping his club post a 13-1 record in that span.

Sampair is also currently riding a seven-game point streak accumulating eight goals and as many assists during his run.
