Over in Sandy Lake and Bearskin Lake, cloudy and damp weather continues today with rain developing by afternoon. Highs near 6 degrees, dropping to plus 1 overnight as the rain turns to wet flurries. Wednesday brings more cloud and occasional flurries, and a chilly high around 4. By Thursday, look for brighter skies and a return to sunshine, though still cool, with highs of 6 to 8 degrees.
Heading up north to Fort Severn and Wasaho Cree Nation, a strong north wind continues today with periods of rain changing to wet snow this evening. Temperatures falling from 5 degrees down to zero overnight. For Wednesday, expect mostly cloudy skies and a few lingering snow showers. Highs near plus 2, lows around minus 3. Thursday brings some breaks of sun but it stays chilly — the high just 3 degrees.
And in Attawapiskat, cloudy skies today with periods of light rain or drizzle and temperatures near 6 degrees. Winds northeast 30 gusting to 50 will make it feel colder near the coast. Overnight lows around plus 1. Wednesday stays overcast with a few flurries possible inland, highs around 5, and Thursday brings partial clearing with a high of 7.
