Community Invited to Engage with Chief Darcy Fleury

THUNDER BAY – LOCAL NEWS – The Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) is continuing its “Chat with the Chief” community outreach series, offering residents a direct opportunity to speak with Chief Darcy Fleury about policing concerns, public safety, and ongoing initiatives.

Public Input Key to Shaping Local Policing
“It is important for me to hear directly from people in the community about how they feel about their police service,” said Chief Fleury. “Input helps to shape policing initiatives.”

Event Details and Participation Options
The next session will take place on Thursday, May 22 at the Waverley Resource Library, located at 285 Red River Road.

The evening begins with a community symposium at 5:30 p.m., followed by remarks from Chief Fleury at 6:00 p.m.

Community members are encouraged to submit questions ahead of time using an online form, or by scanning a QR code shared on TBPS social media platforms. Questions can also be emailed directly to news@thunderbaypolice.ca.

These events are designed to foster transparency, improve trust, and support collaborative policing efforts between the TBPS and Thunder Bay residents.
