Major Crimes investigation leads to charges following late-April incident
THUNDER BAY – CRIME REPORT — Two Thunder Bay residents are in custody facing aggravated assault charges following a violent incident that left one man seriously injured.
Thunder Bay Police were called to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Monday, April 28, after a male victim arrived with injuries believed to be the result of an assault.
Though serious, the injuries were not life-threatening.
The Major Crimes Unit launched an investigation, ultimately identifying two suspects.

Lance DEPERRY, 46, was arrested by the Break and Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit on Tuesday, May 6.

Francesco MUZZI, 40, was also arrested by the BEAR Unit on the morning of Wednesday, May 7.
Both men are now charged with Aggravated Assault. They appeared before a judge and were remanded into custody pending future court dates.
The investigation remains ongoing.
