THUNDER BAY – LIVING – Thunder Bay’s popular Treasure Exchange Days event return this weekend. This weekend will be a great opportunity for residents to exchange reusable household items, furniture, small appliances, toys, and more for free.

Residents who have good-condition items they wish to give away may leave them on the curb any time after 5 pm on Friday, June 17, labelled “free.”

Residents are then invited to tour their neighbourhoods on June 18 and 19 to find treasures.

All items not taken must be removed from the curb by 7 pm on Sunday, June 19. Solid Waste & Recycling Services will not collect these items.

Treasure Exchange Days, which began in 2014, is an Action Item in the City’s Solid Waste Management Strategy.
