THUNDER BAY – NEWS – That blustery wind out there has resulted in a significant power outage on the south-side of Thunder Bay.

Synergy North reports a tree made contact with a power line causing a power outage impacting almost 3000 customers along Arthur Street to Edward Street.

This includes the Valhalla Inn where power went out, leaving guests not in the dark but under emergency lights.

Estimated time of restoration is 3:15, however customers between Valhalla Road and Morgan Avenue have an estimated restoration time of 4pm.
