High Winds Impacting Power Lines

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay has power outages across the city due to high winds. There is also a brush fire that has downed power lines.

Thunder Bay Police ask that motorists avoid the area of Oliver Road between Beckwick and Mapleward Roads.

This section of Oliver Road is currently closed while members of the Thunder Bay Fire Rescue deal with a brush fire and downed hydro lines in the area.

Synergy North staff and crews are working as safely and efficiently as possible to restore all power.
