Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller Announces New Funding for Safe Drinking Water

OTTAWA – INDIGENOUS – Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller holds a news conference on Parliament Hill to announce new funding to improve access to safe drinking water on First Nations reserves.

Chief Chris Moonias, of Neskantaga reports, “Day 45 since community evacuation due to Water Crisis – Public Health Emergency Our Nation has become homeless. Our Nation Members have become refugees from our homelands.”

The Chief adds, that today is Day 9436 of the community’s Boil Water Advisory.
