WEATHER – Thunder Bay to get 5-10 Centimeters of Snow

THUNDER BAY – Get out the snow shovels. Environment Canada says to expect 5-10 centimeters of snow in Thunder Bay as a low-pressure system works its way through the region.

The snow has started to fall this morning, with winds blowing east 20 km/h.

Those winds will gain in strength by this afternoon becoming northwest 20 gusting to 40. Sunday’s high will be minus 1. The wind chill is minus 11 this morning and forecast for minus 6 this afternoon.

There are no weather alerts or warnings in effect for Thunder Bay over this time period.
