Police Arrest Eight in Ongoing Efforts Against Illegal Drugs

Arrests Include Six Toronto Area Alleged Drug Dealerss

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are continuing their efforts to combat illegal drugs in the city. On Friday, police arrested eight people, including six from the Greater Toronto Area, after executing a warrant at a north-side apartment..

The raid on the apartment took place on Friday when officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Intelligence and Emergency Task Units and OPP officers arrived in the 200 block of Lincoln Street just before 1 pm EST on Friday, November 15 2019.

In a statement to media, TBPS says, “As a result of their search police located and seized a quantity of suspected Fentanyl and crack cocaine. About $5,000 in Canadian currency and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking was also seized”.

Michael Atta, 31, of Toronto, is charged with:
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Jomar Oneil BIGGS, 21, of Stoney Creek, Ont., is charged with:
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Keegan Teiko Cresser, 20, of Toronto, is charged with:
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Delroy George HYATT, 39, of Toronto, is charged with:
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Crystal Ann IDZI, 32, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Gidian Clinton MCKAY, 31, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Adrienne Anthony RENNARD, 32, of Toronto, is charged with:
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Probation Order Non-Compliance x 3

Mark Andre WILLIAMS, 35, of Woodbridge, Ont., is charged with:
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

All of the accused appeared in bail court on Saturday, November 16, 2018. All of the suspects were remanded into custody with future appearance dates.  Police state that their investigation is ongoing.
