Arrest made in Hilldale Homcide

Thunder Bay Police have arrested a suspect in the Hilldale homicide

THUNDER BAY – UPDATED – Police have made an arrest in a homicide on Hilldale Road. A forty-one-year man has been taken into custody early on Saturday morning.

Jeffrey D R MILLER, 41, of Thunder Bay, was charged with Second-Degree Murder in connection with a Friday, March 29, 2019 homicide.

The accused appeared in court Saturday morning and was remanded into custody with a future appearance date of Monday, April 1.

The suspect is expected in court this morning.

Police was on the scene just before 1:00 pm EDT on Friday after reports of an injured man. The homicide victim was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where he died as a result of his injuries.

Thunder Bay Police have sought assistance from the public in this matter and are asking if anyone has dashcam video or saw anything to please contact them.
