THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police attended Newfie’s Pub on November 13, 2018, just before 1:00 am on a report of multiple persons requiring medical attention after an altercation in the establishment.

The investigation has revealed that an argument occurred between two males in the bar.

Police report that “Two patrons attempted to break it up but in the process, they were injured along with one of the males involved in the argument. The suspect left prior to police arrival.

A 32-year-old female and a 31-year-old and a 35-year old male were sent to Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre by ambulance for medical treatment. One of the individuals was stabbed three times, and is to undergo surgery. Another of the victims required stitches, and was released after treatment.

Police have identified the suspect and are attempting into locate him.

This investigation is ongoing.
