Newfie’s Pub Hit with Ten Day Liquor Licence Suspension

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – The Ontario Alcohol and Gaming Commission reports that Newfie’s Pub on Victoria Avenue East has violated conditions of its liquor licence.

The AGCO report that on January 17, 2015, an intoxicated person was found on the premises. This violation of Section 46(1) of the Liquor Licence Act.

The licence for Newfie’s Pub will be suspended for ten days, starting at 11AM on September 12 2015 and continue until 02:00AM on September 22nd 2015.

The suspension order was dated August 11, 2015 and Newfie’s Pub waived their right to a hearing on the matter.

This is the second liquor licence suspension for Newfie’s Pub. In 2013 the licenced establishment served a one-week suspension for violations of the Liquor Licence Act.
