THUNDER BAY – A 911 call was received from Eye on the Street personnel at 3:19 AM on October 9, 2017 after cameras operators detected a male lighting a fire by the doorway of Newfie’s Pub on Victoria Ave. Thunder Bay Fire Rescue arrived om the scene to deal with the fire that had been ignited.
There was no damage from the fire; however, the damage was done by the male to some garbage cans and flower pots in the vicinity.
Officers arrested a 40-year-old male at the location and charged him with Mischief Under $5000 and Breach of Probation.
