Schreiber Fire Chief Killed in Motor Vehicle Accident

SCHREIBER – NEWS – The community of Schreiber is heartbroken to confirm the sudden passing of our Fire Chief Pat Bourguignon. As a result of a pedestrian, motor vehicle accident.

Fire Chief Pat Bourguignon was attending the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs annual conference in Toronto when he was struck and killed during a power outage.

The entire Township of Schreiber is in mourning and our deepest condolences go out to his wife Debbie, his children Dan and Lisa, and three grandchildren.

Pat was an amazing man and passionately dedicated to his family, his work as a dedicated volunteer firefighter for 34 years and Schreiber’s Fire Chief since 2009.
