THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Fire Rescue crews were keep busy in the early morning hours of March 18, 2018.

At approximately 04:30 am  Thunder Bay Fire Rescue was called to a garage fire in the 700 block of McIntosh Street.

Acting Platoon Chief Mark Ferrence reports, “The first arriving crew reported the structure was fully involved at the back of the property, approximately 5 minutes later another call came in for a garage fire on the 100 block of Mary St. East.

There the first arriving crew at this address also reported this garage was fully involved also. Quick action by Thunder Bay Fire crews brought both fires under control.

There was extensive damage to both garages on McIntosh and Mary St. There were no injuries at either site
