THUNDER BAY – Live from the Fort William Gardens the 2017 Remembrance Day Services are livestreamed to the region on NNL.

Lest we forget! Every year, Remembrance Day takes on an increasingly special role in the lives of our citizens.

That role continues to grow even though the number of surviving veterans from World War II and Korea are slowly dropping in numbers.

Across Canada, young people are taking the torch and remembering the efforts of all of the brave men and women who served in Canada’s Army, Air Force, and Navy.

In Thunder Bay, large crowds gather at all the Remembrance Day Services. Thousands come out at Fort William Gardens. Hundreds at Waverley Park, and large numbers up on the mountain at Fort William First Nation.
