OPP have laid a number of charges in a stolen vehicle investigation

KENORA – The Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a sudden death in the City of Kenora.

On Sunday, October 8, 2017, at approximately 12:40 pm, police received a call of a possible body in the water of Lake of the Woods at the Main Street dock.

Police attended and located a male deceased in the water.

A post mortem examination was conducted in Kenora on October 10, 2017. The male has been identified as 46 year old Darren Lee Ottertail of Lac La Croix, Ontario. Foul play is not suspected at this time but the investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.
