Three Dead in Accident on Highway 17 Near Dryden

DRYDEN – NEWS – The Ontario Provincial Police are reporting that three people have died in a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle crash happened early on Sunday near Dryden. The collision took place near 01:00AM CDT on Sunday morning near Airport Road on Highway 17.

Two vehicles collided, and three people were killedand two others were injured.

The injured were transported to Dryden Hospital.

The accident investigation continues, and Highway 17 was closed for six hours on Sunday.

The names of the deceased have not been released pending notification of next-of-kin.
