Manufacturing – Youth Employment – First Nations Issues

THUNDER BAY – Tom Mulcair, the leader of the New Democrats is in Thunder Bay talking about the issues that matter to supporters and would be supporters.

In the NetNewsLedger studio, Mulcair spoke in the issue of manufacturing jobs and how there is a positive role for government to play in the marketplace.

Mulcair states that for the small business sector, a New Democrat Government would lower the business tax rate from 11% to 9% within a very short time of forming government.

The New Democrats also promise a better way forward in dealing with First Nations, and putting forward within 100 days of starting the National Inquiry into Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women.

Later today, the New Democrats will host a rally in Thunder Bay at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition grounds.
