SIJHL Announces One Game Suspension

Dudley Hewitt Cup Game Two North Stars by James MirabelliTHUNDER BAY – SPORTS – The Superior International Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham announced the following suspension Monday:


Siau is suspended one (1) game for his actions in SIJHL Game No. 13, English River Miners @ Thunder Bay North Stars, played on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014.

At approximately the four-minute mark of the third period, Siau delivered a knee-on-knee hit to an English River player.

Fortunately, the opposing player was not seriously injured by this reckless and dangerous play.

Although no penalty was called on the play, following a video incident review, Siau is suspended one game under Supplementary Discipline.

This suspension will be served during the following game:

SIJHL Game #16 – Wednesday, Oct. 8 Fort Frances @ THUNDER BAY
