Frost and Snow for Geraldton and Region

Snow is the last thing most in Thunder Bay want right now.
Snow is the last thing most in Northern Ontario want right now.

GERALTON – WEATHER – For much of the North Eastern region of Northern Ontario there is snow in the forecast for this morning. Geralton is expecting up to 4cm of snow.

Environment Canada has issued a frost advistory for much of the area. However the forecast is calling for snow.

Frost Advisory in effect for:

  • Geraldton – Longlac – Caramat
  • Manitouwadge – Hornepayne
  • Nakina – Aroland – Pagwa

In the wake of an Arctic cold front, temperatures have dropped to near or below the freezing early this morning. Temperatures are expected to rise above the freezing mark later this morning and the fros will end. However, temperatures will drop below freezing tonight and frost will likely redevelop and cover additional regions.

Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
