THUNDER BAY – People in Thunder Bay are used to cold water. Swimming in Lake Superior perhaps prepares people for the Ice Bucket Challenge. Today at Thunder Bay City Hall a delegation with Councillor Joe Virdiramo, City Manager of Development and EMS Mark Smith, and Norm Gale from Superior EMS and TBFR Division Chief/TBPFFA President Dennis Brescacin were all on hand to take up the challenge for ALS Canada.
